Do you want to honor a loved one in a unique creative way?
Join me for a fresh flower crown workshop. During this 1.5 hour workshop you’ll learn how to wrap real live flowers and make your own fresh flower crown to wear during a Dia de los Muertos festival or gathering in honor of a loved one who has passed. Death is a natural part of life and creating something beautiful in honor of that helps us release the stigma around death. Working with with fresh flowers is a great way to celebrate life, the season and connect to nature. With these skills you can recreate your flower crown for any festival or holiday. Your fresh flower crown will last up to one/two weeks if kept in the fridge when not worn. Afterwards, dry your fresh flower crown for an altar adornment or decoration to honor your dead. While crafting experience can be helpful it is not required, beginners welcome! All fresh flowers and supplies included but you are encouraged to bring an extra elements that represent your loved one.
