While the term “permanent” jewelry is the industry standard, take this with a grain of salt. It is not as permanent as piercing or a tattoo. Permanent jewelry will last as long as you want it to, provided your piece is cared for appropriately.
By purchasing a permanent jewelry piece from me, you acknowledge that as the wearer you are responsible for any risk involved. If you operate machinery on a regular basis or mechanical items that spin such as industrial kitchen mixers/rotary tools or work often over an open flame such as glass blowing (metal absorbs heat) permanent jewelry may not be for you.
Each chain is chosen for its quality but also for its daintiness. If caught, the chain should break before causing any damage to the skin but please be aware PERMANENT JEWELRY IS WORN AT YOUR OWN RISK.
FAQs
“What if I need to remove my piece?”
— You can remove your piece anytime you need to, simply cut the jump ring that joins the chain/charm with a pair of nail clippers. Please save this ring as it is silver or solid 14K gold. Permanent jewelry can be reattached at any time.
“Does permanent jewelry hurt?”
— No, there is no pain at all! Andrea uses the Orion micro welder, it does not cause any damage or heat to the skin.
“Does the metal tarnish?”
— ALL metal will tarnish over time including solid 14 karat gold, gold fill and sterling silver. Each piece of jewelry comes with a polishing cloth to keep the metal bright and shining. Polishing a few times a week is recommended.
“What happens if my permanent jewelry falls off or disconnects?”
— 1 year guarantee on all permanent jewelry:
If any breakage occurs, reattachment or adjustments are free of charge within 1 year. After one year a small fee may apply ($5-20, to cover cost of precious metals).
Damaged chain can be replaced free of charge within the first year after purchase. Original chain must be turned in/ exchanged for a chain of equal or lesser value. Must show original receipt for exchange replacement.
Unfortunately lost or stolen permanent jewelry chain or charms cannot be replaced free of charge. If your piece gets lost or stolen (within the first year after purchase) simply show your receipt and receive 30% off a new piece of permanent jewelry.
